2021 & iZotope

So Pro Tools finally gets compatible with Mac OSX Big Sur, but iZotope and all the exponential audio verbs are not supported.
When Michael Carnes sold his company to iZotope, I knew it would be a bummer, they won't keep his plugins up, they want you to keep upgrading their plugins and new reverb...Funny that Avid beat iZotope to the punch, I still use RX8, which finally got support.Congratulations to. Avid...Yeah!

I haven't done the upgrade to Big Sur and don't expect to for another year or two. But, is the Exponential Audio line totally unsupported going forward? I may have to scrap them from my mix templates now to avoid future headaches.

Actually just two days ago I upgraded to RX8 Standard only to find out on my system (below in sig line) In Audio Suite Mode It works great right up until I try to send the rendered file back to PT which it will not do ....... I am thinking/guessing the two instances of PT that show up for Carbon are somehow messing with the normal RX Monitor and Connect features ?
As of this morning I have a support ticket in with iZotope support but am waiting an e-mail and curious what they will come up with ????????

Exponential products are listed as not yet supported. Given what I've been hearing about iZotope's strategies going forward maybe I shouldn't be optimistic.

Exponential Reverbs are heavily used on a lot of movies and TV shows, especially for surround and Atmos. I would be very surprised if they don't update them.

But I have Exponential Audio R2 and Excalibur running like a charm here on Big Sur and Pro Tools 2021.3 as well as most Izotope plugins .. Ozone 9, Neutron 3, Nectar 3 etc

Update from my previous post On RX8

After trashing PT preferences and then also realizing that once I rendered the file in the RX standalone window, I had to send it PT first and then hit "Render" in the RX Connect window. Now all is working as expected ( and it was not because of the dual instances of Carbon ) whew
