ProTools LE Licence

Hello,

Is it possible to purchase ProTools LE without having to buy an LE hardware option like an MBox Micro just to get the activation code? We'd love to record from the Venue to LE (which of course is a valid hardware option) for now until we move up to HD in due course.

From what I understand this isn't possible. You can buy Full Installer but I think you need an activation code which implies you've already got one having already purchased a hardware option.

Any clues?

Hi Mike,

A Pro Tools LE activation code is included with each VENUE FWx (FireWire) card, so there's no need to purchase any additional LE products in order to use LE with a VENUE system. The activation code is either on a sticker on the Pro Tools installer DVD that came with the FWx card, or it's on the inside cover of one of the included manuals/guides.
