Default Arturia Moog Modular update/new version

Anyone taken time to try the new 2.0 version of the Moog Modular V?
My equipment is all taken apart right now for room renovations and i can't give it a shot.
Would LOVE to hear that it is now stable w/ProTools.
Anyone?
Go and get it at: http://www.arturia.com/en/moog_upgrade.lasso
It's FREE for registered users and they have a GREAT price ($12)! if you want physical media and a manual.
Wish everyone's upgrade pricing scheme was like this!!!!!

I am really interested in the Moog Modular. So you are saying the last version didn't run smoothly? I'd also like to know how this version stands up.

myshell,
while it sounded amazing, it never has worked right for me. After a few minutes it starts replicating itself all over the screen until, eventually, it kills protools. I think this is pretty much a known issue as Arturia would actually give ProTools users a refund if they wanted it. I didn't take the refund in hopes for a working revision.
Maybe this is it?
I sure hope so, the thing sounds wonderful for the few minutes that it works.

Everytime I get interested in a soft synth...I find out it runs like sh*t in Pro Tools. Does anything run smoothly in Pro Tools running under OS X? Kontakt is just plain useless. I'd at least like to get Atmosphere. Thanks for the heads up.

I tested the beta version of Moog Modular V 2.0 and i'm very happy to say that it works fine om my PT system MACOSx. It works in HTDM mode again, 1.2 version worked in RTAS only, and so your cpu usage is small as you expect, and all the screen refresh problems and crashes are solved, infact i surely buy it.

BTW also on the CS80 and minimoog version the HTDM bug will be solved sooner.

Why would HDTM make your CPU useage small ? It's still native processing just with a different code and name so you can run it on an AUX track.

Don't know exatcly, maybe due to a different load of the cpu in the audio autput. I know that the process is native, and i ask a lot of people to explain me that without any good answer, but... is a fact, open a RTAS plugins and a HTDM one and you got a completely different cpu load. Don't do that with the Native ones because even if they call Rtas that are HTDM.

ciao

the answer is simple...the cpu usage meter only shows RTAS plugins. cpu used by HTDM plugins is not included in the usage meter and never has been.

So with HTDM i don't know how much cpu usage i got since PT doesn't stop the audio output for cpu overload, isn'it?
The only thing i can't understand, however, is why you can instantiate a lot of HTDM plugin without freezing audio, much more tha RTAS, if the answer is only a bad cpu usage meter, this wouldn't be possible.

More confused!!!
