Default Goodbye bombfactory?

Bomb Factory was nowhere to be seen at the namm show, and has not been included in the 2003 developers catalog for digidesign...is this due to the new universal audio plug ins? Anyone know anymore on what happened??

Everybody makes the party better.

Some by staying.

Some by leaving.

My rep at Guitar Center mentioned that Bomb Factory may be going belly up. This may explain why? Anyone knows? I wonder who would take over their great products? Waves? Digi? Microsoft?

You can still buy their plugins for PTLE. Infact, they now have their 48K value plugins for those of us that can't record at 96K. I sent them an email recently asking them to negociate a price for 48K plugins as a bundle and they wanted full price and wouldn't budge so i'll stick with Waves. I would think that if they were struggling they would have tried to get whatever they could out of me.
They make great plugins but have a lousy reputation as a company. It's a shame.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">this is so true! (sorry, i just joined the DUC, so that's why i'm replying so late to this long dead chain). I have the moogerfooger low pass filter from the 001 factory bundle, but bomb factory refuses to give me discount in upgrading to the moogerfooger complete bundle. i don't know why they want to be so difficult.

Since Universal Audio makes the 1176ln, LA2A and Pultec for Protools, Digidesign and Bombfactory dont seems to get along.

Well, UA don´t make Fairchild 660 and Tel-Ray, two outstanding plugins on a voice-track.
