Track count question
I use PT24 Mix Plus on a single 800mHz G4 running 5.1.1. I have 4 cards in my machine: Mix core, Mix farm, SCSI and Aurora Fuse. I am about to start a huge session where my system will run out of plugin DSP on the 64 ch. mixer. Since I almost never use my SCSI drives I am thinking about adding another Mix Farm (and pulling the SCSI card). If I used firewire drives or my 2 internal IDEs what kind of track counts could I expect? Looking for input. BTW, anybody selling a Mix Farm in the next 3-4 days?
