Avid Artist Control + Mix - Ableton on Win 10

Hello,

could somebody please help me setting up Avid Artist Control + 2 Mix + MC Transport in Ableton live 9 on Win 10?

I just found Tutorials for OSX, but nothing for Windows.

In Windows I don´t have the preferences to add live as an application. So I don´t know how to configure it.

In the Attachments you can see my setup in Ableton Live.

What do you mean by this? Do you have Ableton setup in the EUCON Control Panel?

Hi Eddy,

in this post on the Ableton forum is a description to add Ableton as a app to the icon preference panel on OS X (see the second screenshot) for setting up the midi channels correctly.

But in windows I have no possibility to add Ableton as a app to the eucon preference panel.

So I only could setup the midi-channels in Ableton shown in my screenshot from the first post.

But the Faders won´t recognize anything and the softkey panel in eucon is empty.

What happens when you drag Ableton into the EUCON Control Panel ?

When I drag the app to the eucon control panel the cursor change to + but nothing happens.

Do I have to map the midi in windows before? I have 8 Eucon Midi Channels shown up in Ableton, but without any function.

Your eucon applet is in the windows control panel
There you need to add euphonix 1 and 2 as mackie control
In live you will need to add these ports as mackie control 1 and 2
The transport doesn't support mackiecontrol so this one doesn't need to be mapped anywhere.
You just need to map the softkeys and wheel via eucontrol.

Press the windows key
Type control panel > ENTER
this opens the control panel
Here you see an icon for EUCON
This is where you link euphonix 1 and 2 port to MackieControl or HUI for non eucon applications, in this case Live

Raphie I can´t believe. You made my day.

When I used your tipp, I found the Eucon settings app on the windows control panel.
If you only go over the control panel icon in the win start menu, the eucon settings won´t show up. That´s the reason, why I didn´t find it.

So now I have it.
