Default Required software extensions are missing...

... Click on the "OK" button, and you will be transferred to the PACE web site where an installer can be downloaded.

I'm running:
- Mac Pro OS 10.6.6 with 7GB ram
- Mbox 2 Pro with Pro Tools 8.0.3

I downloaded the drivers and installed but still get the same message when I attempt to launch PTs.

Help?

You don't need an i-lok for PT8. There are no standalone drivers for PT8, only for PT9. You may have loaded the PT9 driver in PT8. That won't work.

Is your MBox connected and on?

Okay, I think I know what the problem is;

As usual when it was all working, I have my computer connected to the Mbox2 Pro via firewire but NOT with the AC adapter. This never yielded a problem as the External Clock light on the Mbox would be solid once I powered on my computer.

Now, that External Clock light continues to flash red - as in NOT talking with my computer. So now when I launch Pro Tools, it's pretty much asking me "where is your interface?".

I may need to find the AC adapter and/or figure out why all of a sudden my Mac is not seeing the Mbox. This probably happened when I did one of those OS X upgrades.
