Computer freezes while installing

I looked at the compatibility documents and couldn't find anything that isn't uncompatible with my system:

AMD Opteron 175 Duo Core (socket 939)
Windows xp sp2
Trying to install Protools 6.7 LE (I have the first Mbox)

When I install it goes to 100% however after that I get the windows xp popup saying something like "windows doesn't approve etc..." and I can either click on continue anyway or stop installation. Right after I click on continue my computer just freezes. I can't do control alt delete or anything.

After I restart I get the pro tools softwware icons and everything but it says error loading program and I can't uninstall so I ran the protools uninstall program. I keep on trying to install but it freezes at the same time all the time (right after the windows popup).

I tried installing it via New Hardware Wizard. I got through the installation fine for the software (i just said skip driver installation). It detects the driver on the cd but I still get that "windows logo testing popup and asks me if i want to skip or continue. I press on continue and while it installs the drivers later it displays "Dalwdm.sys" to windows/system32/drivers it freezes. I tried again after rebooting I get the freeze every time after "dalwdm.sys"

I tried installing it via New Hardware Wizard.

Try this.
Uninstall PTLE using Add or Remove Programs.
Then search your system drive for dalwdm.sys and delete every instance found.
Then try a reinstall following the installation steps included the Getting Started Guide.
It will tell you to ignore the New Hardware Wizard, and you'll find an explanation for the "windows logo testing" popup in those instructions, as well.
