003 Rack+, will it work with OSX 10.5 (Catalina)?

I can confirm this worked. I downloaded and was able to install most recent OSX digidesign 003 drivers from Avid. I am using 003 in Studio One v5. It comes up as "Avid 003 Rack."

I had to manually label and re-configure the I/Os as they don't automatically come up but all 18 003 outputs are there. No need to sell the 003 and buy another interface :).

I disabled driver protection and installed the driver. My 003+ unit works first time I plugged it in.

Used Catalina on a 2012 MacBook Pro . Run newest version of Protools musician.

Can anyone verify whether or not Catalina + 003(console) + PT10 will all work together using this method? I'm on Sierra (last "supported" drivers) now and having this annoying glitch where when I go to initiate plugins, the category drop down menus are not visible until I scroll down then the categories show but if I scroll back up the categories go away again. Hoping Catalina might resolve, but don't want to brick my setup in doing so. Thanks!

I run a Mac Pro 5,1 with a metal card running OpenCore. This allows me to run any Mac OS via boot screen. I can switch between 12 & 2022.7 with the latest digi003 driver on my Digi 003 console or rack. I guess that disappearing act on the plugins is a known issue for certain unsupported COMBOS. You tried updating to High sierra >?

Can't speak on the Macbook, only my experience on the Mac Pro side.

I know the drivers would work all the way up to big Sur.

Many users here will say that Mt. Lion is the most stable for PT10 I believe. Not sure if you can go backwards on the macbook OS though.

If you could I would just partition two Separate OS. if you need Catalina for other stuff.
