Re: 2018.5?
They never said they’d be releasing an update every month.

Re: 2018.5?
IIRC, the goal was quarterly releases at a minimum.

Re: 2018.5?
I'm not one for craving constant updates, but it would be nice to get one that's compatible with the current mac operating system once in a while.

Re: 2018.5?
Well, that'll never happen. The final macOS version has to come out before they can do testing to get it approved.

Re: 2018.5?
If they brought one out tomorrow that was compatible with 10.13.4 then that would make them both concurrent, so it's not impossible, and has happened on occasion in the past.

Re: 2018.5?
Well MacOS is at 10.13.5 now. Just updated yesterday. Pro tools runs solid.

Re: 2018.5?
Did you run ProTools with 10.13.4? Cuz that was certainly NOT solid.

Re: 2018.5?
Doing a proper QA and sign-off requires time-consuming regression testing of all product features, old and new, as well as any previous bug fixes. You might see less mission-critical applications claiming immediately compatibility, but no pro/enterprise software is ever going to claim immediate compatibility with every brand new dot release of every OS.
