Looking for a good string virtual instrument
Anyone have a recommendation for a good string virtual instrument? Looking toad some strings to a few sections of my songs. I have an akai midi controller.

For pop or rock, I use IK Multimedia's Miroslav Philharmonik

Depends on how much you want to spend. There's LA Scoring Strings (LASS) at $999 which uses the Kontakt engine, any one of a number of Vienna Symphony string libraries which use their own engine, EW libraries which use the Play engine (they've got a half price sale going on until the end of the month IIRC).
