drum programming!!!
Hi !!!
I was wondering if there was any free "plug ins or software or i don't how to call it " that i could use to program some drums with PTF without having a midi keyboard? I mean just with the mac!!! Thanks!!! |

You should check out iDrum from Izotope. It has a Free trial period to test it and it only costs $69.95 It is the best "Drum Programming" program / plug-in for Pro Tools.

But I went to check and it requires OS X and I run on OS 9.2!!! Do you know any version that can work with OS 9.2 ? |

I never found anything cheap that I liked more than any of the common cheap drum machines. I'm a drum bigot though. I'd rather record my friend or even myself on a crappy kit with crappy mics than suffer the lifelessness of canned drums, and I'm certainly not a drummer.
I've heard some stuff done with Drumagog that sounded decent. Programming realistic fake drums is a tedious process that I just don't have the patience for. You can use, modify, or make your own loops, but that's a tedious process too to get good results. |
