controller interface software for 02R missing

We have been trying to get the 02R working as a control surface with a Mix Plus 6.4.1 and here are our conclusions.

The crucial legacy controllers we need to make the 02R work as a control surface in 6.4.1 are missing. The only controller profiles that ever worked for us in OS9 were MM16 and DC16, and regrettably these are not offered on Digi's legacy controller page. They offer every controller interface EXCEPT the ones we can use! CS-10 does NOT work as a controller profile -- not with a mixplus.

Could somebody at Digi please resurrect the MM16 or DC16 controller personality for PT 6 please?

I'm not a tech, but a search on the Answerbase for Yamaha O2R brought up this:

How do you configure a Yamaha O2R to emulate a supported MIDI controller for use with Pro Tools?

In Pro Tools go to the Setups Menu > Peripherals and under MIDI Controllers select CS-10, making sure that both in/out midi are properly selected (they should say the name of the MIDI controller itself).

The 02R should send "BF aa XX" sysEx data (as listed in the Pro Tools manual).

I'm not disputing you that it may not work, but wanted to make sure you had tried those steps.
