Delta 1010 Playback skittering

Just started using Protools M-powered 7.3 with M-Audio Delta 1010 PCI rackmount interface. Playback is skittering (Max Headrooming) every few seconds. If I increase HW Buffer size, it happens less frequently but the skittering is longer in duration. Also if I increase the DAE Playback buffer, it does the same thing. I have moved the Delta PCI card to another slot in case it was an IRQ conflict problem, but that didn't fix the issue. Any thoughts? Please let me know. Thanks!
