Default Channel Strip on Stereo Master Fader

Whenever I put a Metric Halo Channel Strip on a Stereo Master Fader and then save the session, the reopened session plays no audio through the master fader.
No visual level, no sound. I have to remove the Channel Strip and put it back and then audio returns. This does not happen with other plug ins. Any ideas?

Default Re: Channel Strip on Stereo Master Fader

Solved it! In the plug in window, the "key" input has to assigned to a bus (it defaults to no key). This does not seem to necessary with other master plug ins.
