Default Using a webcam and PT

Hi; I am running WIN7 and can't get the mic on my Logitech webcam to work.
We think it's a conflict with the digi audio driver.
Anyone have any experiance with this?
Anyone using PT and a webcam/mic on a WIN7 machine successfully?
If so, what brand?

Thanks!!~

Eb

Using the webcam for what exactly? What version of PT? In general(my opinion here) its wise to not connect your audio machine to the internet. If its your only computer(which means you have little choice) then you might consider setting up a dual boot system so you can keep your DAW system separated.

Yes it's my only computer. I don't use the webcam with PT. Just to do Skype. But the mic doesn't work, so I have to use an external mic. Tried a couple of different webcams and no luck.

Probably a setting in Sound(in the Device manager section).
