Default No longer Student: Student-Version for commercial use?

Hello ProTools-Guys,

At first: Sorry for my bad english - I'm german, so it's not my first language.

I bought a student-Version of Protools (incl. 4 years of upgrades) last year - at that time I still was a student at a university in germany.
Since 2 months I do not study anymore and make my living as a musician, producer and engineer. Can I use the Protools-License I already have for this purpose (Commercial use) or do I have to buy another license?

Best regards,
Andi

I am not aware of any restrictions in using the student version for commercial use, that may be covered in the EULA (End User License Agreement)

So I would think it still would be possible

Someone who is more knowledgeable in that field can chime in

You cannot use student versions for profit. This goes for pretty much all software manufacturers, not just Avid.

Is there an official document confirming that?

I think, there is many edu-software you can use commercially - e.g. adobe cs6...
