Sound stops...

Hello, :)

I have a problem with Protools (11.3) becoming mute after a few minutes.

When I use Protools, after some time the sound stops on it's own : Protools continues playing the music but it is muted (no sound). This happens when the file is lasting about 5 minutes.

The same problem happens if I don't use Protools for a few minutes : after some time, I clik on the Play button and it plays, but there is no more sound.

I need to restart Windows to be able to hear the sound again. But of course, after a few minutes, there is no more sound...

What can I do to fix ths ?

I use Fast Track Duo.
My system is Windows 8.

Hmmm, here are some things to check:
1-(really important since you have a USB interface) Disable Power Management on all USB ports(aka "USB Root hub" in Device Manager)
2-Set Windows Sound Properties so that Windows is NOT using the interface as its "default playback device"(set that to the on-board sound card)
3-(in case the above doesn't help), have you restarted the song? Just wondering if you somehow added automation(accidentally) that is either muting or dropping the master fader(assuming you have a Master Track in your session to check)
4-do your speakers have a "sleep" feature? If you listen at low volume, maybe the speakers are going to sleep?
