Default PT10.3, HD2 accel Avid I/0 Hardware insert issue?

Hi, I've just upgraded my interface the Avid HD i/o, I'm running PT 10.32 on new Mac Pro with an HD2 Accel system.
I cant get my delay compensation and Hardware Inserts to work, which is reason i switched back to Avid interface. If I set up a hit on one channel, insert an insert plug in and record it back in on another channel (with no external processing) the audio is coming back earlier.
I have delay compensation switched on, have worked out the audio is 12 samples earlier but wherever i enter the figure nothing is helping.

Does anybody know a way to get this to work, I would ideally like to use my external comps and be able to record back in for parallel compression.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Matt
