bomb factory plugins 4.1.1 update - AARRGH!

i just installed the updates, and now it can't find any of my BF authorizations on my iLok and sends me to a Digi page to purchase the authorizations. What the heck gives? I thought I had read all of the read me's correctly...

What was the version number of the BF plug-ins that you updated? The 4.1.1 updates are for updating 4.1 versions of the BF plugs. If you have older versions and authorizations you can find the appropriate legacy BF plug-in downloads here;

3.70. i pulled the new ones out, restarted Pro Tools, and no problem finding all of my authorizations. Is there any reason to update all of my BF plugins besides the free bundle, or is the problem only on the BF Free bundle?

If the 3.70 plugins are working fine, do I need to upgrade them for any reason?

You only need to update the free BF plugs or any Mac BF plugs with a version number of 4.1.

It may need to be clearer that you shouldn't update older plugins on the posts - I looked in the DUC and it's not entirely clear, but if you go to the plugins, you can download the updater as long as you're a registered BF owner.

what is the benefit/drawbacks of upgrading to the BF 4.1 versions through digi? What's the cost as well, since I spent a lot of money purchasing and upgrading the originals...
