To Admin, Brent if you are available,
I am just asking for support here, is there a expected or ball park timeline for 5.3 for the mac faithfull.
Any feedback will help to ease the pain of waiting as it is something we are all been awaiting so long and it should help the pc mac stupidity by keeping fair to both sides.
Please comment as its called p&r goodwill.
Thankyou.
AJ

I'm like a bunch of others here who could sure use those extra 8 tracks. I'm wrapping up a project and have guitars on vocal tracks and keyboards on percussion tracks just to get everything in the song. The guy doing the mastering would like me a lot more if I gave him the PTLE files with only one instrument per track....

You know, a decent PC is so cheap now. You should just get both formats running and sync them via spdf and midi. Then you'll have all the tracks you need! That's what I do. For that matter, you can sync any other multi track audio program to Pro Tools.
