This is an interesting point. Is there perhaps any merit to keeping the audio file as is, converting to a video file, and providing subtitles for the conversation? Just thinking out loud really.

If you don't you'll open yourself up to accusations of manipulation and malfeasance, and possibly having it thrown out of court , ie., dismissed, depending on the judge. Also be aware that the defense may request that your phone be collected by law enforcement to be examined by defense's experts as well. Be prepared.

Hopefully you're consulting a lawyer on how to protect yourself from counter suit by litigants with more money than you might keep around the house to defend yourself.

Follow this advice. I used to do some legal forensic work and you could ruin your case if you do it yourself.
