Default Is there going to be a new PTIEP?
Is there going to be a new PTIEP coming out soon? I mean NI is out with Komplete 7, so something's gotta be happening soon right? Any info would be appreciated.

The current one only came out about 8 months ago. They do not upgrade their VI's nearly as often as other companies, probably because it's more of a side thing for them, whereas for NI, that's all they do. But even NI, up until recently, would upgrade every 2 years. This recent version 7, only a year after 6, was something unusual for them.

So I think it will be at least a few years from now.

Avid can just barely keep up the getting the bug-fixes out. How would they find the time to actually develop something new?
