Hey FILOSOFEM you are joking????

This doesn't answer to my question !!!!

I already read the DIGI update page and they don't talk about the Toolkit music producer compatibility !!!!

I just added the MPT to 7.1.1cs2 yesterday. Appears to work great. YMMV though... Brand new install, I installed cs2 BEFORE any optional software-- you may have to uninstall to do the same.

As always the best bet is to clone your boot drive to another volume (tried Carbon Copy Cloner?) before you change anything. Then you can always go back.

Yes it does, 7.1.1 works with Music Producer Toolkit, but installing cs2 is at your own risk, the same risk the others on this thread have taken that you ask whether it's safe.

Important: Pro Tools LE 7.1.1cs2 is provided as an interim "customer support (CS)" release to address the issues described. While our testing has not shown these changes to introduce other problems, this version has not been fully qualified by Digidesign.

I understand Filosofem !!!!

Thanks for the info but Digidesign have always qualified PT versions (since 6.4 ) , that still cannot synchronize external machines in Midi beat Clock !!! ( see my post about that!).

And I Need to use the CS update to learn LOGIC Audio ( with the 7.1.1 Digicore Logic cannot record audio due to pink noise at input).

So I'm still waiting for another NEW CS for the MIDI BEAT CLOCK which MUST WORK on a Software such as Protools !!!!!

Thanks for the answer ;-)
