Default Plug In Question -

Man, Protools is wearing me out! This is suppose to be easy! I hope other newbies are having better luck than I am!

I just loaded my RTAS plug ins like Sample Tank, Sonic Synth 2, Dimension Pro, Trilogy, and others and PT cannot find half of them. I see them in the Plug In Folder, but when I try to access them through PT They are not there.

I hve installed, un-installed, re-installed PT and the plug-ins and get the same thing over and over again.

Where is your plug-in folder?

It should be C > Program Files > Common Files > Digidesign > DAE > Plug-Ins

Some of your plug-ins may also be stereo only in which you need to create a stereo track and not mono.

They are in the correct directory C > Programs Files > Common Files > Digidesign > DAE > Plug-Ins

But I still cannot pull them up.

I did see another DAE folder in my Program Files directory, but I deleted it per a DUC post from Digidesign.

What version of Pro Tools?
And What versions of the plugins?

When you say "PT can't find them" exactly what do you mean?
Have you tried flattening the plugins list?
