Export Midi problem in pro tools 8.04
I've been using Pro tools LE since 6.8 and never seen this issue before. Just upgraded to 8.04 and noticed this problem for the first time. A quick search turned up with nothing , so hopefully someone could help me out with this.
Basically, when I try to Export the midi session , the Task Manager window pops up and it reads: "Synchronizing fgh.mid". And it stays like that forever. If I want to close the session 10 minutes later, it says " there are some incomplete tasks. Quit anyway? " The midi file gets exported, but it's unreadable. This process used to take me less than 3 seconds. i would simply export the midi file and load it into my Korg keyboard. Now, the same keyboard can't read the file. Obviously, it has to do with the way pro tools is acting up..... I'm still using my PC turnkey system which runs on windows XP service pack 3. I don't have any other problem with it...Could this be a bug? |
