Default HDX and 5.1 Mac Pro

My 3.1 died yesterday and i grabbed a 12 core 3.46 5.1 to replace it. Im using ProTools 10 HD TDM at the moment. If i upgrade to HDX in the near future will this machine run everything ok.

Thanks in advance

Many of us are using a 5,1 with HDX and Mojave for serious pro work. It’s a wonderful system. The writing is on the wall though. I anticipate a new computer purchase in the next 24 months. The 5,1 will be great until then.

That’s great to know. At least I’ve future proofed myself if I make the upgrade later this year
