Default Avid CONTROL favourite User macros ? (for Post)

Out of all the possibilities the CONTROL app gives you, what are your desert island settings ??

I'm in post so (finally) being able to PREVIEW and WRITE AUTOMATION TO ENABLED without having to have the AUTOMATION window open is brilliant (I've got this programmed into 2 of the User Keys on my S1).

Also, CLEAR SOLO, TRIM (holding option) and CLOSE PLUGIN WINDOW are great.

Anyone ??

I've never liked the extra button presses with "Do To All" and "Do To Sel." My desert island automation modes are option-TOUCH, option-LATCH. Direct and fast.

And dedicate a soft-key to AUTO MATCH so you can match out during a pass.

Ive essentially customized BOTH softkeys areas with my most used. These include a few surface layouts and window configs, a few location markers, bounce track, bounce to disk, clip gain, zoom toggle, etc.

Some are still blank as I have a Dock and a couple of S1's which have dedicated automation keys.

I am pretty much parked on the channel tab in portrait mode with both softkeys areas showing. No banking or menus. Love it.

What's your command line for TRIM? I have it setup, but once I touch a fader, ALL the tracks get selected. A minor annoyance, but still.

Anyone know if it is possible to do this...

I have a bunch of configuration views
ie: drums, bass, etc
I made marker locations that assign the view and then setup the track heights, etc. I do this so I can have a template that will expand the tracks in folders when needed and so on. I also use VCA spill to a 16 fader Artist setup. I would love to make it where when I select the Memory location on the app for say DRUMS, that it not only opens up that view that is setup, but also selects the VCA (*Drums*) in order to spill only the drums to the faders at the same time.

Not sure this is possible?

Thanks guys

clear solo is my top one, on the S3 it's super close to my hand, defo fave with no keyboard eqiv that I know of.

would still love to have "write to all" & "write to selection" as separate Eucon commands. I write to selection all the time (I would hazard a guess this probably goes for most in post?) and very very rarely write to all, and it is super easy when working quickly and with multiple button presses to accidentally write to all and wipe out your entire automation information which maybe isn't apparent till later and is a super pain to try and get back.

Unfortunately that's how it works for me too (all the faders go TRIM mode), but it still beats using the trackball
