Default Bouncing vari-speed session to disk!!!!

I was told by some one in tech support that one could bounce a vari- speeded session to disk at an altered sample rate to retain vari-speed and pitch. Then re-import it to a new session and it will convert sample rate back to standard. Does anyone know the ratios for a session down a step or half step.Is there a table or formula. Thanks greg
