Default Pro Tools Carbon - Is there is a way to send Mon L-R to Output 7-8?

Hello,
Is there is a way to send Mon L-R to Output 7-8 internally??

Want to avoid using 1/4" cables to XLR for my monitor controller.

I am using a monitor Controller to switch speakers and receive out inputs

Thanks

You can just assign your tracks and master to Output 7-8 in your Pro Tools session. That's it.

Yeah not sure why DB25 to XLR would be better then TRS to XLR!?

One reason could be that he has a cable arrangement with multipolar cables running through the studio and doesn't want to add (or simply couldn't) more cables. I'm in the same situation, but fortunately I had two spare TRS left from the previous setup with my old RME.

Yes it's connected to the bantam patchbay via DB25, but two TRS cables go straight from the MON L-R out to the Presonus Central Station

You have the Carbon and then run the outs through a Central Station??
You should really hear it without that POS in the monitoring chain.

Hi I run a rescue service for pro-audio equipment and would be happy to have a representative pick up your Carbon interface FREE OF CHARGE TO YOU and we will help find a new forever home for it where it will be well loved and cared for.

You should sweeten the deal by offering him an MAudio FireWire interface to match that sweet CentralStation colored sound.

Yes. Why not. It’s a clean and transparent monitor controller and ergonomic to my setup. I mixed a lot of tracks through it and my clients are happy with their final product. I use Carbon without monitoring section: here in my country it’s not a crime…yet!
