MC Mix "Dropping Out"

MC Mix drops out (no controls) at various times during project.

I have updated software and firm ware.

I notice the green icon is no longer on my desktop since updating software. It remains black.

This (dropping out) has been an on and off again problem for a long time.
The MC Mix will work fine for weeks on end, the just stop working.

Example..When bringing up a project (I'm using DP7) the MC will lock up with the track(s0 just fine few a few seconds then all goes dark.

I have attached, re-attached etc to no avail.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

it does that after sleeping and waking up your machine, indeed....
on a mac? system preferences > eucon > stop and terminate all services > power off unit > power on unit > start services again.
