Default Sessions sputter and click

Hello, I'm back with the same problem. My sessions sputter and click sometimes and won't stop unless I increase or decrease the "disk playback" cache size in the set up/playback engine page. Any Ideas what the heck is wrong.

Have you tried putting the session folder on your SSD and running it from there?

OK. If you disable all plugins by holding shift when opening the session, does it still happen?

SO i consolidated several backing vx plugs with a sum fader(they were all set the same) made some adjustments to them. seems to run alright now. Sttrange, that all of a sudden after I installed sonar works, this started to happen and has continued even after a full uninstall of sonar works. I never had a problem before even with dozens of plugins, with dozens of tracks in a session.

ACUSTICA AUDIO Silver volume A now 59, down 100 from previous BF price of 159. Regular price is ... dont remember, anyways to much for me. But now I'll get it. Silver is a gem !! and a CPU hog :ma d:

SO just loaded the session I've been working on and there it is SPUTTER AND CLICKS. AAAARRRRGGG. And it all started after I loaded Sonar Works, and didn't quit when I removed it from my computer. So what the heck. Never ever happened before I have even reinstalled windows and pro tools and all my plugins. And it's strange I don't get any error messages. Maddening. Any other suggestions. Thanks
