Default RME Fireface 800 or Ensemble?

I just got my MPB and I am thinking the FF800 might be the best option out there for a new interface. The FF400 and the Mbox3pro are nice. I don't really prefer to use a special adapter fpr FW800>FW400, though...

I am on PT8 but I plan to upgrade to PT 9. From what I hear from most studios, the RME's clock and converters are a big step ahead of the mbox3pro. The FF800 has 4 mic inputs which is preferable.

Are there any RME FF800 owners here? How do like it ?

Ensemble looks great, too. A little more pricy. Some people said it wasn't as stable as they hoped for. It can be connected to 002/003's, but the RME should have this ability, too. Clock should be decent and the mic pre's are about the same as the RME from what I hear.

Any experience with the Ensemble?
