Default Wheels/Shuttle on MC Transport+Control

I have MC Transport and MC Control running Nuendo 5.5 and Eucon 3.

the only solution I found is to program a single soft button to execute three commands in a specific order.
Type WHEEL: Jog (MC Control): Custom function
Type WHEEL: Jog (MC Transport): Left Edit: Jog Position
Type WHEEL: Shuttle (MC Transport): Right Edit: Jog Shuttle

programming them any other way either breaks Shuttle or makes both wheels do the same thing. E.g. I can assign Jog to MC Transport and Zoom to MC Control using two soft buttons, but then Shuttle on MC Transport will stop working.

BTW, what is the difference between "Left Edit" and "Right Edit"?

Left and Right edit are for custom shortcuts (when turning left-counterclockwise or right-clockwise) I think.

As I understand it, Left Edit and Right Edit is a bit of legacy code going back to the MC Pro when it allowed the customer to install the Jog Wheel on the left or right hand side. Don't think it really matters how you use it with the MC Transport, although what you have programmed seems use of the code.
