Default OS compatibility

I just switched over from PC to Mac and I have a question about the new Tiger OS. I have a G5 Imac and I am ready to make the upgrade from mbox to digi 002. I want to get a used one but I want to be sure the software is compatible or that I can download a compatible version. A buddy of mine is selling his digi 002 (purchased about a year and a half ago), he has pro tools 6.4 (which is what I was using on PC). Aside from testing it out, how can be sure it will work with Tiger?? Thanks!

No. Sorry, but I think 6.9.2 is the earliest version to run under Tiger. Which ....I seem to remember involved a paid for upgrade to 6.7.
No doubt I will be corrected if I've got this wrong....

.....but you really should check these things out for yourself via the compatibility link at the top of this page.......
