Default Creating multiple midi tracks

I would like to add a second midi track to a session using a different virtual instrument. Do I add both a new Instrument track AND a new midi track?

Default Re: Creating multiple midi tracks

An instrument track is a combination of a MIDI track (to record and route the MIDI) and an Aux track (for the audio from the plugin).

A new VI only requires an Inst track OR a MIDI track and an Aux track
