Pro Tools 11HD advantages over Standard Pro Tools 11 (software wise)

Other than more busses and more monitoring options, what advantages has Pro Tools 11HD got over the Standard version of Pro Tools 11?

But isn't all this mostly based around 'convenience' ? Has Pro Tools 11 HD got any 'Sound Quality' advantages over the Standard version of Pro Tools 11?

Or you want more physical IO, or larger track counts, or VCAs, or fancier metering, or timeline cache, or...

The differences between Pro Tools 11 and 11 HD are clearly documented by Avid, and easily discoverable with Google or by just looking through Avid's web site... Here is Avid's product comparison table http://www.avid.com/US/Common/produc...mparison-table

Trying to vote on or reproduce that list here again is a complete waste of everybody's time. If something is not clear in that table then ask and folks here can help explain what that specific difference.

It's code that lets you match the ISO tracks of a field recorder like a SD788 to the mix track the the picture editor used when they cut the picture before handing off to sound. If the the picture editor consolidates the OMF/AFF the metadata is lost and the function is lost.
