Was there one released for PT8?

Not sure why you'd want this when the Decklink will playout any flavour of QuickTime as long as you have the correct Quicktime Component installed.

It's the file that resides in the QuickTime system folder. So if you want to be able to playback Quicktimes encoded with the ProRes CODEC, you'd need the ProRes component installed. Most that you'd need come with Final Cut Pro, but the Avid ones and ProRes playback can be downloaded from the respective companies.

I'd just guess as long as you output simple side-by-side from the decklink your projector should recognize it (if it accepts SbS).

The BMD 3D is just a dual input card which can accept two streams and then the user stores it. It also has a compliant hdmi 1.4 out, but I dont think any QT file format is handling the frame-packed format of this. SbS, on the other hand, looks to the SW like a normal HD stream and should be okay.

Anyone have an issue with some monitors not seeing 24fps material out of Decklink. Sony Bravias see it but samsung does not.

Are you working with HD material at 24fps? If so, I think your Samsung is expecting 1080P, not 1080PsF. There is a setting in the DeckLink Preference Pane labeled "Use 1080P not 1080PsF". Enable that setting and let us know if you still cannot see 24fps material out of the DeckLink.
