Default Does remove PT - remove projects too?

I want to upgrade to 7.3 but the disc tells me to rfirst, emove my current 7.1 version. If I remove it...will I lose all my projects that I have saved on my drive? Thanks.

No, PT will not remove your project files.

HOWEVER, you should be using a dedicated drive for audio (not the system drive) anyway.

AND

If the worst were to happen, you DO have a backup of your work, don't you?

I do use a dedicated external drive for all my work...and it is backed up to another. So I guess I'm good to go. Thanks for the info! - Andy
