Wave File - Blue Screen and Reboots

Guys,

I'm running 6.7 on an XP system. After I bounce a file to disk (Wav format) and click on the file to play it, Windows Media Player quickly opens and then the blue screen appears and my system reboots! Has anyone had this problem. If so, how did you correct it.
