Default Can't open PT after upgrade to 2020.5.0

Hi,

I upgraded my main studio machine from 2020.3 to 2020.5 a couple of days ago, but now whenever I try to open PT it says the "Subscription License Has Expired" and to plug in an iLok with a license on it.

My iLok with the PT Ultimate Perpetual license is plugged in (I've tried multiple USB ports on the computer). Have tested with other DAWs which use plugin licenses stored on the iLok and they all work fine.

Ilok License manager sees the licence just fine (I've deactivated and re-activated it to the iLok just in case).

I've tested the iLok on my laptop with PT 2020.3 and it works as expected.

Trashed PT prefs, rebooted multiple times.

I've just re-installed PT and am still having the same issue.

Can anyone shed light on what my issue may be? I'm sitting here with a client unable to get any work done...

Many thanks,

Chris

Please check the Release Limit date on your license, because if it tells 2020.5 cannot be authorised you need to renew update plan.

In the products section of my.avid.com, it says "Your Software Updates + Support Plan expires on Mar 31, 2021".

I just re-purchased the support plan a couple of months ago!

Please check that detail anyway. If it is old date you need to synchronise your license key and if that does not work contact Avid Support

There should be a way to click on the license key and do it, but if that doesn't work deactivate the license and then activate again

Unfortunately I can't see anywhere to synchronise the key, but I have deactivated and reactivated with no luck.
Also tried just using a Cloud session with the license off the iLok but that is not working either.

Time to call support I guess. Now to try find where my ASC code is. I keep going in circles in my.avid.com trying to find a place where I can get one.

Don't need ASC as you have active support plan. Start from here.
