PTLE8 MPTK2 Sampler Content

Hi,

just checked the Sites for downloads for Library Content.

Smack, Structure, Hybrid etc.

AVID does not support second hand Purchase. However,

everything is registered on my iLok.

What is your experience here.

I have a long run here with installing MPTK2 and now my focus is to find the content of the samplers: Structure LE , Smack LE, Hybrid...

I did not find any download pages for this. I licensed everything to my iLok but can´t use the purchased software in full extend, which would be a bit odd.

After searching for days...

Where can I find direct support with Avid?

Smack and Hybrid don't have any content. If you want to install only the content for Structure, you'll need to go to the Avid support page for Structure LE and download the v1.0 full installer with the content. Once that's installed, you would then install the necessary Structure LE updates. Keep in mind that if you use the MPT2 installer instead for the Structure LE content, there was a bad Studio Kit patch in it. That's why I suggest the original installer instead.

okay,

I would suggest AVID to let me register my products, having access to proper downloads in my Account information. This is not possible as I was informed during my odyssey.

As I know from other software this is a nice feature getting latest info and having proper download links...

Everything you need is freely available in the Avid Knowledgebase. All you have to do is go there and search for what you need. Don't expect someone else to do the work that you can freely do for yourself.

Structure and Goliath Installers Do Not Automatically Install Sample Content.

This is a known issue in Pro Tools HD, LE & M-Powered 7.4.2 (Mac OS X 10.5.3).

The installers for Structure and Goliath do not automatically install their sample content. You must manually copy the sample content from the installer DVDs to your hard drive. To install Structure sample content:

1) Run the Structure installer.

2) After Structure is installed, manually copy the folder “Samples DVD 1” from the Structure DVD1 installer disc to the following location on your hard drive: /Structure/Structure Factory Libraries/Structure Encrypted Samples

3) Insert the remaining installer discs to your computer and manually copy the “Samples DVD” folders on each disc to the Structure Encrypted Samples folder on your hard drive.

To install Goliath sample content:

1) Ensure that Structure is already installed.

2) Run the Goliath installer.

3) After running the Goliath, manually copy the folder “Samples DVD 01” from the Structure DVD1 installer disc to the following location on your hard drive: /Goliath - Structure Edition/Samples

4) Insert the remaining installer discs to your computer and manually copy the “Samples DVD” folders on each disc to the Samples folder on your hard drive.

What you need to know:
1) There are 3 different licenses for Hybrid. One for 1.0, one for 1.5 and one for 1.6. You have to install the version of Hybrid that works with your license, probably 1.5.
2) MPTK2 did not come with Goliath. Goliath has never been available via download. If you have the license for Goliath, you need to get the disks from the person you bought the license from.
3) You may have the iLok license for the MP3 Option, or you may need an auth code to enable the MP3 Option. If you don't have the iLok license nor the auth code, the MP3 Option will not work for you.
4) For Structure LE, install the 1.0 full installer first and then any appropriate update.

I think the structure sample content is a separate ilok license from the structure plug in so you need the ilok asset for both.
You may have the ilok license for structure only.
