hi,

the FireWire Bridge Chip NEEDS to be an Oxford 911, 912, 924, 936 etc.
here are some links
www.macsales.com
www.newegg.com

the 911 is on sale in most places since it only support IDE/ATA drives.
the ones with 924+ support SATA, USB2 and eSATA.

best

don´t worry ANY Oxford chip is ok!

I have the same encasing SK-3500, works great! DSB just means it has several interfaces connectors
I bought mine in Black from an ebay seller with a 1TB Samsung HJ103 for €140 six months ago, quite a deal!

But the SMART AP Monitor does not seem to be finished yet.
