Default Any luck?...G4/933 w/ Jam 2.6.2

Please excuse the intrusion...I am coming over from the Mac Digi001 forum. I noticed that a few people on this board had problems with their G4/933 with Superdrive and Jam 2.6.2. Has anyone had any luck resolving this issue?...or is the only answer getting new software? I have been on the phone with Roxio 4 times in the last 48 hours as well as Apple and still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Simone

I've got an 867 with a superdrive and I use Jam 2.6.2. The only problem that I run into is that the CP box must be checked for it to work. Which is a drag, but it works.

Hi Jan, what is "CP" on Jam 2.6.2 ???
Just intalled it today on my 867 with SuperDrive. Have not burned anything yet, but was curious about the fact that you mentiones "CP".

Thanx

Hi,

I have read of others who have had problems, but Jam 2.6.2 works perfectly on my G4/933 with Superdrive.

Alan, Christoph, do you have CP checked? What happens if you uncheck it and try to burn a disk? Also, can you burn at 2x, or is that option greyed out?

Thanks.

When I got my dual 500 a year or so ago and installed Toast 5/Jam 2.6 I found I needed to disable two extensions ...

FireWire Authoring Support
and
Disc Burner Extension

to allow Toast/Jam to work properly with my firewire CDRW (and I'm assuming it might apply to an ATAPI internal unit as well)...
This was the advice I found after researching the troubleshooting FAQ's on the Roxio website. It's worked well ever since.
