Install just the CoreAudio driver for Mbox 2?
I installed Pro Tools LE 6.8.1 on my dual G5 1.8 with 1.5gb ram and it was a complete DOG compared to what I'm used to with Logic Pro 7, performance-wise...felt like i was back on my 001 with my G4 400. 1 instance of GuitarRig in PT had the CPU meter at about 50%...in LP7 it would hardly put a dent in it...that's using the same buffer size in each app. I uninstalled PT using the installer/uninstaller and now I just want to install just the core audio driver so I can use the MB2 with LP without loading on all the Pace junk and PT again.
Does anyone know if there's a way to just install the CoreAudio driver using the CD that comes with the MB2? I see in the downloads section on digi it says you can't use the stand alone driver there with the MB2. TIA. |
