Default 1814 Inputs

Hi all!
Im a 001 owner and Im thinking of going M-Audio to upgrade.
I need to know how many simultaneous inputs you get with the 1814?
Are the ADAT and the s/pdif inputs available at the same time?
Is it realy 18in 14 out at the same time?
Thanks

16 inputs (if you use the ADAT inputs).

8 on the 1814 (somewhat noisy inputs - your mileage may vary)
8 on the ADAT

NO.

NO - it's more like 16in and 12out.

you can only select between the ADAT or SPDIF (can't have them both).

so don't count the SPDIF inputs/outputs if you intend to use the ADAT features.

confirmed, you can call it noisebox^^ but it's cheap and thats what you get in quality.

I have other problems with it, but I don't find the inputs noisy at all. The preamps are noisy if you crank them, but I really don't use them.
