What SSD's will work best for the OS drive? Session drive? Sample drives?

Thanks

For OS I'm using Gigabyte Aorus Pcie 4.0

For sessions a Western Digital Black 7200rpm spinner.

I have the WD Black now for my session drive. But if I build a new system, I'd like to have all SSDs if possible. So I'm wondering what SSDs work best for the session drive and/or the sample drives?

I use SA400 from Kingston in one of my computers.

Great price and performance.

If your MB supports PCIe-4, then get a PCIe-4 SSD.

Older PCIe-3 SSD's are great too, but have slower read/write speeds. No biggie tho. Stick with a trusted/proven brand.

Congrats! What kind of cooler do you have on that 11900K? Does running all the cores @ 5.1 GHz cause any problems with temps?

I'm using a Zalman cooler https://www.newegg.com/zalman-cnps10...82E16835118059. I replaced the single stock fan with two Noctura 120mm fans for push/pull. Plus I have three 80mm case intake fans and three 80mm exhaust. All fans are super-quiet Noctura's. Temps are fine, and it's pretty much silent.

Gary, I noticed in your sig that you're running PT 2020.5. Just curious as to why you haven't updated to 2021.6?

I'm close to beginning to order components to build a new system, so I appreciate seeing what you put into your rig. I was wondering about the i9. Did you get your components through NewEgg, or elsewhere?

How many SSD's are using in your rig?

Thanks
