Updating plug-ins from ProTools 6.9.2 to latest version

I'm about to purchase an Mbox for travelling purposes, and right now I have an older version of ProTools than what comes with the mini. I have 6.9.2 and have recorded an entire album's worth of beats using this version- I'm concerned that the plug-ins won't transfer over to the Mbox. Is there anyway to update a new version of ProTools with older plug-ins so there are no disscrepancies in my beats? Please help! Thanks.

PT 7.x onwards uses a different plug-in format so I guess the answer to your question is probably not. Which plug-ins specifically are we talking about here? Stock Digi plugs? Third party plugs?

EQ II and Dynamics II will still be available if you drag them back into the active plugs folder (from unused).

If you anticipate problems with particular plug-ins, one option would be to revisit sessions that are affected and render the audio using Audiosuite.
