Files won't import, conversion confusion
Hello,
I'd appreciate any help on this situation: I created a session with 24 44.1k and a stereo track. When I click File>import>import audio, I select a stereo interleaved audio track to be imported. The imported track is 24 44.1k and 2 channels. When I select if for importing I get a pop up that says, " (title of file) must be converted to be used because it is not a mono file." I don't know what to do. Are there some settings in PT8 that are necessary in order to import stereo audio files? Thanks for any help, Grateful Pro Tools 8.0.3 OS 10.5.8 Leopard 8GB memory 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo |

Re: Files won't import, conversion confusion
Interleaved files have to be converted to multi-mono for use in Pro Tools 8. Don’t sweat it. You’ll still have a stereo region on your stereo track.
