Hi all,
If machine control is so solid in 7.2, what is the problem with using the V1.
Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Johnathan. Don't know if you remember me from that little get together at Georgia's after AES-NY?
Is MC working with your v1's?

Brandon, what issues are you having?

hello,

I upgraded two stations yesterday, and had a problem with one dorémi. the other worked fine. it's surely a V1 firmware issue. the problematic dorémi was working correctly with 7.1...
there were such sames problems with some 6.9 PT versions ( PT always waiting for sync )

I'm personally not having any problems with the V1. I freelance at a couple of studios that will not upgrade to 7.2 because they use the V1's.
Peace,
Brandon

Well, that's nice, but you claim its a V1 firmware issue. That can't be proven unless all the problematic V1s have the same firmware. Plus, it would be useful for me to see if the allegedly bad firmware is the one in use on our V1s. I am awaiting v7.2cs1, but if it can be proven that I will have a problem with our V1s with v7.2cs1, then I will have to wait until what is allegedly broken is fixed.

It is unfortunate that no one at Digidesign is commenting on this thread.
